RRMI is committed to:
- Extract and haul materials from the mine pit in full compliance with all applicable environmental laws and other requirements;
- Adopt and maintain industry best practices during its exploration, development, operation, closure and rehabilitation phases;
- Implement and continually improve EMS to prevent pollution;
- Operate and maintain the mine tails and waste facilities in a manner that is safe and in full compliance with all environmental laws and other requirements;
- Formulate and implement measures that ensure the safety of employees and the surrounding communities and its inhabitants;
- Formulate and implement a closure and progressive rehabilitation plan that ensures long-term environmental stability after the life of the mine and provide for safe post-mining land uses.
