During dry periods, dust generated from heavy equipment traffic at the active mine area from pit to tailings dam are experienced. Water trucks continuously ply the busy roads to suppress dust.
The project facilities are powered by electricity generated from the 10-MW diesel-fired power plant, allowing RRPP to operate one of the cleanest and most environment-friendly base metal plant in the country. Emissions are regularly monitored for compliance with the requirements of the Clean Air Act.
