The Rapu-Rapu Polymetallic Project (RRPP) believes that in achieving economic development, one should not forego the environment. Hence, the Project is firm in its commitment to responsible mining and processing towards sustainable development.
The Project is certified under ISO 14001:2004 and implements an Environmental Management System (EMS) that is comprehensive, systematic, planned and documented. It includes the organizational structure, planning, resources for developing, implementing and maintaining policy for environmental protection. A systematic approach in setting environmental objectives and targets are implemented and the environmental impacts of the Project’s activities and products are identified and controlled.
